Verix for Zoom App Guide

Your step-by-step guide to issuing credentials during Zoom Meetings

Verix allows you to automatically issue credentials to active meeting participants, without ever leaving Zoom.

Getting Started

  • To use Verix for Zoom, you’ll need to install the Verix app from the Zoom App Marketplace.
  • Certificates will be issued based on an attendance threshold that you specify.
  • Note that only the Zoom meeting organizer can create and distribute certificates.
  • You’ll need to set up your certificate template during the Zoom meeting. If you’d like, you can join your meeting a few minutes early to do this.

How to Use Verix for Zoom

Step 1: Install the Verix app

  • Click Get to install the app.

Step 2: Log in

  • Double-click any item in the certificate preview to change the font, color, style or size.

Step 5: Set minimum participation

  • Specify the minimum percentage of time a participant must be present in the meeting to earn the certificate (e.g. if set to 80%, attendees must be present for at least 80% of the meeting's duration to qualify).
  • Tip: Ask participants to check that their Zoom meeting profile name is accurate – it will appear on the certificate.

Step 6: Preview & schedule certificates

  • Click Schedule send to finalize. The certificate link will be sent to the participants using the same email address where they received their Zoom invitation.
